Put the wee ones to bed.

Grab your tea (or vino).

Put up your feet.

Take some deep breaths.

...and find a place to rest your mind, body, and soul.

Y'all, I posted last time about being a newly working mom. I'm transitioning from a stay-at-home mom to a half-time kindergarten teacher. My half time days have turned into long, exhausting, fulfilling, busy days. The transition is exhausting but good...make sense?

The truth is, we ALL as mothers are constantly...transitioning. It's all beautifully tiring and wonderfully hard, right?

But you know what always cures the chaos?

Rest. Rest in Jesus. Bringing our tired yet fulfilled hearts to Jesus and basking in his power. Making an effort to surrender to our weariness and find rest in tiny moments.

I'm going to stop now, so I can seek refreshing rest. I'm going to make an effort to stop what I'm doing, ignore my todo list and practice rest. I'm encouraging you to R-E-S-T your souls, too.

much much much love.
