We are so excited to share the speaking topics of our fall Retreat speakers and featured moms. We have lined up some incredible women to speak and we can't wait for you to hear from them! They've been hard at work preparing and praying over these topics and we are so grateful for their hearts for you.
Below you'll see a general Retreat session outline and order. Take a few minutes to read about the incredible truths these mamas will bring to you and get excited to join us November 7th from 11:00am CST - 2:00pm CST (Wanna learn more about Retreat? See more here.)!
Session 1: "The Foundation." Building your house ON the Rock. - Lovelyn Palm
A home is only as sturdy as its' foundation -- the most expensive and time-consuming part of the actual house build. Join us as we explore how to become unshakable by building our lives on a firm foundation of solid rock that is Christ alone.
Featured Inspiring Mom: Mandie Joy
Your motherhood journey may not look the way you thought it would. In this heartfelt segment you'll hear from a single mom who has learned to parent by daily saying "I surrender all". Letting God write her story is impacting families to open their doors to what God has in store.
Session 2: "The Cornerstone." Building your house WITH the Rock. - Jami Nato
Body building -- Christ's gifts to us in building up the body for his good purposes. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.
Featured Creative Mom: Kennesha Buycks
It's so easy in the day-to-day and too often mundane moments of mothering to feel as though we are not equipped for this amazing calling of motherhood. In this session, we'll dive into some of the challenges that we face as moms and defeat the lies that we've believed for far too long about ourselves and how we mother.
Session 3: "The Source." Sustaining you house FROM the rock. - Jamie Ivey
God is our source. When the storms of life seem to be raging all around us, we have hope in a God that never changes, never leaves us, and invites us to stand firm on Him. He alone is your rock, and He alone is your refuge. We serve a God that is trustworthy and asks us to follow Him with our whole heart, mind and, soul. He alone is our source and our rock.
