Week of Prayer: Day Four

Week of Prayer: Day Four

During difficult times, we struggle to find a way to make sense of things in our hearts. We struggle to explain to our children why things happen. We want to come alongside you and help you find a peace in your heart and pray peace and understanding for your children.

We want to point you to the gospel, because Jesus is always the answer. It’s our desire to see the body of Christ come together and show the world what unity and love looks like, and we believe this may begin in the lives of our children. Let’s mend our hearts and create a safe space to pray and walk with our families through hard times.

DAY FOUR: PRAYING FOR SALVATION

PRAYER ONE

REFLECT ON THIS SCRIPTURE
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
Ephesians 2:4-5

SAY THIS PRAYER
Lord, you are the God who makes a way where there is no way. I praise you because I was dead in my sin, but you brought me to life through your Son! Will you reveal to me today the richness of your grace and mercy, and may I offer that to others. I want to live like I have been made alive.

PRAYER TWO

REFLECT ON THIS SCRIPTURE
For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:11-12

SAY THIS PRAYER
Father, thank you that I don’t have to carry my sin anymore, because you took it from me on the Cross. Would you help me to live as a woman who has been set free? Fear and shame no longer have a hold on me, because I am the object of your unfailing love. Today I receive your grace that extends as far as the east is from the west.

PRAYER THREE

REFLECT ON THIS SCRIPTURE
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15

SAY THIS PRAYER

Lord, would you fill me with your love and courage, that I might be a messenger of your Gospel. You have given me the treasure of knowing you, and I want to share this treasure with my children, my neighbors, and the world. Thank you that you love the people around me even more than I do; will you move in their hearts, that they would receive your grace!
